Nilam Agrawal

Little Elm

Nilam Agrawal is passionate about creating awareness about the unique needs of individuals who are deaf-blind and advocating for their educational rights. “As a mother of two children with disabilities, I am concerned about the early identification and inclusion of children with disabilities in Texas public schools,” states Agrawal. “I hope to improve my knowledge of education law; and gain skills in advocacy, community engagement, collaborative work, and effective partnership in policymaking. This will help me to work together with Texas policymakers to create a system that can ensure that all students with disabilities receive strong, inclusive, and appropriate education support in the state of Texas.”
