Project Title
Building Connections, Creating Community: A Support Network for Special Needs Moms
Project Description
Chassity’s capstone project focuses on establishing a mentoring group for moms of children with disabilities. There is a lack of support and connection for moms of children with disabilities, which can leave them feeling isolated at the start of their journey. By establishing this group, Chassity hopes to foster a supportive community where experienced mothers of children with disabilities can mentor and guide those new to the journey — fostering empowerment, connection, and shared resources.
