Jennifer Bailey holds a master’s degree from Prairie View A&M University and has over 30 years of experience in state government, overseeing regulatory and licensing programs across multiple counties in the Gulf Coast Region. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she played a pivotal role leading epidemiological activities and coordinating community vaccination teams.
Her journey into advocacy began when her child was born prematurely and spent a significant portion of the first year in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Stepping outside her comfort zone, she quickly realized the importance of finding her voice and advocating for her child. This transformative experience immersed her in the world of disability advocacy, shaping both her personal and professional growth.
