Project Title
Raising Awareness About Organizations and Tools Focused on Protecting Medicaid Funding at the Federal Level
Project Description
Many organizations are creating resources to help disability advocates engage with lawmakers at the federal level and oppose policy and budget proposals that threaten Medicaid funding. Lisa’s capstone project seeks to amplify these efforts by connecting like-minded stakeholders and providing access to the growing range of advocacy tools on this issue. The project utilizes group presentations and fosters communication among both formal and informal networks of disability advocates.
