The Texas Partners in Policymaking Alumni Program provides an opportunity for graduates to stay connected, informed, and engaged with advocacy initiatives. Members of the alumni program are making an impact in the lives of people with disabilities across Texas. As a member, you will have priority access to continuing education events, newsletters, networking events, and more.
Alumni Program Benefits
- Continuing Education: quarterly scheduled learning events designed to equip disability advocates with the knowledge and skills needed to remain engaged, informed, and motivated toward continued action
- Partners Connection: bi-monthly e-newsletter that highlights alumni program events, alumni impacts, and advocacy opportunities
- Facebook Group: access to an online community for alumni to ask questions and share information
- Networking: opportunities to connect with the community of over 700 alumni across Texas
Alumni will also have opportunities to recruit and mentor new participants.
Become a Member
Membership in the alumni program is free and graduates of Texas Partners in Policymaking are eligible to join. The program is designed for alumni who want to stay engaged and informed, continue to build their skills, and take their advocacy to the next level. Members are expected to stay active in disability advocacy.
To join, complete the short Alumni Program Commitment Form below. Members of the alumni program must complete an annual advocacy survey to remain in the program.
Once in the program, members will automatically be subscribed to the Partners Connection Newsletter and invited to the Partners Alumni Facebook Group. Members will also receive invitations to exclusive networking opportunities.
