Danian Torres, of Pharr, is the parent of a child with a developmental disability (DD). “I want to make sure all people with DD know about the rights and resources available so they can have a better quality of life,” Torres said. “I also want to connect with educators and make them aware of the policies and procedures they can use to help young people with DD be successful.”
