Desiree Collins Bradley lives in Fresno. She is the parent of a child with a disability and applied for the program because of her concern about community integration and inclusion in the school system, recreational programs, and accessible playgrounds. “I want to encourage not only my daughter to be a strong self-advocate, but I also want to encourage others in the community to work together to create solutions for people with developmental disabilities,” Bradley said.
