David Chapple

David Chapple is the Co-Project Leader of the AAC Training and Dissemination at RERC on Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Chapple researches how individuals who rely on AAC can be more independent. He also writes for a blog named Speaking with Professionals Alternatively where he writes about how people who rely on AAC interact with people from various professions. Lastly, Chapple also works doing peer support. In his spare time, David likes to travel with his wife and enjoys painting.

A Group for Men With Disabilities

Project Description

Chapple established a group to bring men with disabilities together for community building and peer support. The group meets for dining, socializing, making art, and having fun.
