Consuelo Castillo is a self-advocate from Round Rock. “I’m in this program to learn how to be a more effective advocate,” said Castillo. “Ultimately, I would like to help reduce the number of people with developmental disabilities in Texas who are waiting for community supports and services.”

Raising Awareness of Housing in Round Rock

Project Description

Help move individuals in Round Rock from the housing waiting list into more permanent accommodations. The partner will conduct research, discuss housing issues and solutions with decision makers, and raise awareness through community outreach.
