Wendy Maurer is the parent of a child with a disability. She lives in The Woodlands. “One of the things I want to do with what I learn in Texas Partners in Policymaking is to ensure more teachers get trained on evidence-based practices so they can more effectively support students with disabilities,” Maurer said.

Digital Resource Handbook

Project Description

Develop a digital resource handbook that compiles disability resources available across Texas. Organize three in-person presentations and create a YouTube video guide that explains how to use the handbook and access resources.
