Alyson Parish, of Bridge City, is the parent of a child with a disability. She wants to make a difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families. Parish plans to use what she learns in the program so she can act as a catalyst for policy and systems change, while simultaneously maintaining best practices beneficial to all members of society, as well as all levels of government.

Project Description
Assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families to find and receive the help, services, or resources that are available to them. Provide the assistance needed to navigate, complete, and gather required documents to submit applications and paperwork.
