Session 6 of 2020 Class Held Online
Due to the current situation with COVID-19, session 6 of Texas Partners in Policymaking was held online. Participants from across the state gathered via video conference to continue their advocacy training.
Due to the current situation with COVID-19, session 6 of Texas Partners in Policymaking was held online. Participants from across the state gathered via video conference to continue their advocacy training.
During the session, state and national experts provided presentations and facilitated discussions that focused on successful educational outcomes for students with DD and what’s possible in Texas.
Over 30 advocates have been selected for the 2020 class of Texas Partners in Policymaking. Participants in the statewide program will learn how to advocate for important disability-related issues.
